please can someone give me some advice, alarm was installed about 5 years ago was going along fine until yesterday when i tried to set it, it accepts code starts beeping as normal but instead of setting the beeps change tempo and wont stop beeping until entering code again which unsets it

You have a fault on one of the sensors, probably a door contact would be my guess.

Or a tamper fault.......been decorating?

sorted now thanks to you the misses put metal xmas wreath hanger on top of door in between door sensors moved it across now works fine ,thanks again.
