Following the protocol given for the above panel, all alarms semm to be reported as faults. I want to aomehow simulate a fault to check the correctness of the protocol, but I dont know how one would do this.

Does anyone know an easy way to simulate a fault?

Do you have proper EOL/DEOL settings..?

What do you mean by all alarms are reported as faults.

A fault will be reported as a fault and and an alarm will be reported as an alarm.

Tamper a input and see what happens :)

Ps. 1. Are you fitting this panel.

2. Is it your first ATS.

3. Ive fitted about 30 ATS and had two training days with Aritech, and Im still not an expert.

4. Give me some more info and I may be able to put you in the right direction. :)

I think you are looking for an "alert" these are NOT faults these are drawing your attention to one of many problems. Try a line fai, or a power fail, or a mask, or fail to set, these go on and on and are causing our engineers a real problem. We dont want them, the customer dosent want them but what can we do the europeans insist we have them.
