I moved into a new house with veritas 8c alarm fitted. pre 2000

it was connected on the fuse board to some lights . Whilst away my father in law blew the lights which has killed the alarm.

battery and fuses removed.

i have purchased a new battery and fitted it. and replaced the fuses

all seems good except when i press

it doesnt do the zones i want

so i press omit and set the zones i want and its fine and works ok

but the next time i come to set it

its the same and has reverted back to other settings

how can i get the zones to stay programmed into the full/part memory to stop me having to programme it every time?

also i cannot walk test the alarm

any ideas much appreciated

i live in Cheshire in the Wirral area btw

Sounds as though the system needs the engineer programming redone to suit your needs.

I would suggest that you get a local installer in to do this.
