Tamper on Scantronic 9200

Featured Replies

My alarm which is a scantronic 9200 is going off in day mode, and the TAMPER light is glowing, gone off twice in the last few hours. Is there anyway that I can stop the alarm from going off on a tamper violation (bell,PIR,PA) until I can check it out.

I would say that your battery is faulty (or it could be a fault on your bell or some other part of the tamper circuit).

If you have the engineer code put it into engineer mode.

You will need to get a competent person to fix or further dignose problem as it is necessary to undo lid and there are 240v mains present.

post your location and somebody should be able to help you.
