Hi all, we've just moved into a house with a Scopetronic Vista-5 alarm. We don't have a manual and we're keen to make sense of the display (it's currently flashing "PF A3 t2 u").

The previous owners say that they never had a manual for it, so we're kind of snookered.

Does anyone have this manual? I'm assuming it's quite an old product.

Your display is telling you :

PF = total power failure

A3 = alarm on zone 3

T2 = tamper zone 2

u = unset

My guess is that your battery is goosed , and after a power cut , the system has crashed.

Best to get an engineer to check the battery / charging circuit , and report.
