New home owner :-)

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I've recently bought a house (my first one :) ) Before we moved in, the house had been rented out but had been empty for about a year and the owners decided to sell rather than renovate it.

Anyway, this house has an alarm fitted, it's an AJ600N control panel. It has two PIR sensors that I can see, plus sensors on the front and back doors. The previous owners have no idea what the code is for the alarm.

I know you can't give out the engineers manuals or master reset codes (if there is such a thing), what I'm after is

1/ The normal users manual

2/ Any way of resetting the panel to it's default configuration so I can choose my own code.

If it's something I can't do myself, can anybody recommend an engineer in the Leicester area that can do it cheap :)

Not sure what I can do to prove it's my house, video of me going in I suppose if that will help :P

cheers...

They went bust a few years ago, not surprised with them panels.

They are a poor panel and would recommend changing it but the choice is yours.

You can contact us on 0116 2667864 to default your existing or for an upgrade.

I really can't be ar**** with it anymore.

Thanks both,

Adi, I'll give you a ring tomorrow, to be honest I will probably ask you to default the one we've got if I can find a manual for it. Unfortunately, being a new house for us, there is a lot of stuff that needs money spending on it before I can afford to replace the alarm :-|

cheers
