RICHL,an update to my earlier post, when I try to use the "members" heading I get the following- Board Message "An error has occurred" and below that a seperate message saying something like,"You may not have permission to use/view this area.

That used to happen to me when I was a Member.

Never the less you can still PM RICHL by clicking on the PM button under his avatar & details on the left hand side of any of his posts.

The reply from Rich is a good example of how this site can help a member achieve the result he is after.

The error returned when you click on the members button is intentional. You can't view\search for other members if you are only a standard member of this forum.

As for the original email not arriving, I don't think it likes email addresses with dots in so d.w.walton@btinternet.com is not OK, dwwalton@btinternet.com is.

Thanks for your replies everybody,it would now seem that I can use all the forums etc,don't know why I could'nt before but can now as I have'nt changed anything!! Anyhow I'm now happily registered and able to use the site fully so alls great,as for the e-mail address thing with regard to the dots,I really can't enter it in any other way since this is my e-mail address and if entered without the dots I would assume that it bounce straight back to the sender or go to the person with that e-mail address and thats not me,Thanks again,Dave Walton.

Hi everyone,first post in the members area,question is, does anybody know where I can get my hands on a Optima 2Plus RKP?,does anyone know where there is one or has one lying unused/redundant somewhere?. I've already spoken with RICHL who thought he may have had one but after kindly checking for me,unfortunately had'nt. I know a wall that's got one screwed to it which will be coming off before too long. (When I say before too long, it's been waiting to come off for a good 12 Months now so we'll see what happens)!

I'm sure i have a KP somewhere in the office. It is second hand and is around 10 years old(taken out due to upgrade).

Im not to sure how long it would last though.

Ok lads,Scottish Engineer did his best to help me out,(He found an old one in his stores but it did'nt work!!!)so its back to the forum and you lads out there,once again,please help me out guys!!!
