My daughter has moved into a house where an ADE Optima Alarm is fitted. The last owners left no instructions other than passin on the operation cade which does not work, Can anyone help with instructions how to reset this alarm. Also a manual would be helpful. Thanks

Hi, to change the code you'll either need the original or the services of an engineer to take the panel back to the factory settings and re-program it..... this is quite a simple job but not something any of us would recommend of suggest doing yourself. If she's just moved in it might be an idea to have the alarm serviced and this way you can make sure that everything is as it should be and that the main backup battries are ok etc.... if they're not replaced on these systems it can cause serious damaged to the panel itself which ends up costing some money!!!!

As for the code business the best bet is to put your location on... or better still you daughter's location and someone on here might be in your area and able to assist you. hope this helps.... I'll wait for the message with the email address,

This isn't the original but will do the job with your panel, now... if I'm right..... right click the above attachment, save target as, then save and it will be on your pc.
