When I'm given a specification compiled by highly paid independant experts it usually makes amusing reading. Here's an exert from one that I'm working against today:

"...The emergency lighting is a system of lighting that operate independant of the main electrical system, which comes on when the fire alarm system is activated..."

Sounds impressive, might have to start using those non-electric ones instead of the mains reliant ones I usually fit. Should save a fair bit of hassle with the wiring and test switches :whistle:

Somebody put that in writing..........or have you been watching day time tv again, its bad for your health.
