Hi

I need to replace the line cord in my tele 300a butt phone, the one that is in it the moment is a red and black braided cord, the one i am replacing with is a standard replacement line cord with bt 431 plug

the connections inside the butt are marked tip and ring, can anyone tell me which wires on the bt cord i need to connect up

Normally the outside two or 2+5 the ouside often blank connector strips would be 1 + 6 if you get my drift

Normally the red and white wires are " tip and ring" or UK speak A leg and B leg.

Use the outer pair of the 431a plug as per previous post. or if it is a 631a plug (6-pin) then it is pin 2 and 5.
