Concept Alarm,I love it, BUT

Featured Replies

I have read all the various information and advise given about Concept alarms and I just need confirmation about one thing.

One day long ago in a land not too far away (Walthamstow actually) a silly man(me) tried to re-fit a faulty ceiling light. However much he tried he just could not do it, until one day his fairy godmother come along and did it for him.

During the time the magic electricity was turned off the Concept alarm started to chirp like a demented Parrot.

Since that day the alarm has not worked. All the lights come on but there is no beep to the key pad, no lights flicker when movement is detected, neech, nadda, nuffin'

It looks as if it works but it does not.

Question,(if you are still awake) Is the battery to blame or the parrot trapped in the alarm box ?

Thank you.

Steve

What you need is Prince Charming , the alarm-installer to come and give ye system the old check-over or the olde heave ho.

Sounds like a new battery is required.

Thanks Fastcar, I can let the parrot out now.... cheers

ADEs concept system, fitted a few of those, Weird keypad wiring, 2, 6 cores, not much room either, if i remeber the E/E zone was wired off the keypad...... Just think we can now use a single pair to run 100+ Zones on a galaxy as well as keypads.

The panel End Station will take up to a 7ah battery m8, but i reckon a 3.0ah will be satisfactory for a home system..
