Guest tony Posted April 19, 2005 Share Posted April 19, 2005 i have a 9448 alarm , we recently had the walls replastered so i unscrewed the censors, the tamper alarm went off so i entered my code which turned it off, since then ive screwed them back but when i set it , it wont stop beeping so i just have to re enter my code to stop it hense i cant use it anymore, can anyone help ? If you can't see the problem then ,like Peter said, give your installer a call. They will be able to trace the fault quite easily. breff Posted April 20, 2005 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Are the LEDs coming on the PIRs, it sounds like you might have blown a fuse. The 9448 usually wont Reset when you have a tamper problem and gives a single beep, check what LEDs are lit on your keypad. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct!
