Hi Folks,

I have just bought a new house which has an XM6 installed and Unfortuatly the previous owners never used the alarm due to pets and cannot remember the code given from the owners before them banghead ,

So the alarm is inactive just now and i would like to have it working, is there any way i can re-set the code to our own preference without knowing the previous code?

Im pretty inexperienced with alarms so i darent touch anything without some advice :smash:

No, not really. You will need an engineer to default the codes for you and then you can program a code of your choice.

If the alarm hasn't been used for sometime, it will more than likely be in desperate need of a service anyway, so why not kill two birds with one stone.

If you post your location, one of the engineers on this forum, who cover your area, will offer to help you.
