Guest
Your ISP should have them somewhere in their help pages. Is this for a new account or is it an existing one that forgot what it was doing? Is it a single account that you've got, and does anything else work in Outlook?

What is your email address? What has been working up to now - how did you use it?

Who is your ISP?

Usually there's a POP3 and SMTP server, which may be the same (or not). e.g. For Freeserve/wanadoo they're something like: pop.wanadoo.co.uk smtp.wandoo.co.uk Or there may be a common one such as mail.domainname.co.uk
Mister_Dave
Your both spot on, got them from help page. pop.tiscali.co.uk and smtp.tiscali.co.uk Dave Oxendale York based security systems engineer.

It's a bit fundamental!
Guest
Correct! If you'd have said Tiscali I could have told you that one. Next.... CompostCORNER
Incoming mail servers are usually down the lines as follows.... POP.ISP NAME HERE.co.uk or... POP.ISP NAME HERE.com POPMAIL.ISP NAME HERE.co.uk or... POPMAIL.ISP NAME HERE.com Outgoing servers are usually as follows.... SMTP.ISP NAME HERE.co.uk or... SMTP.ISP NAME HERE.com Obviously the (.co.uk) or (.com) depends on your ISP's name. The POP servers with my ISP were fazed out and replaced by POPMAIL a couple of years ago but it don't hurt adding both server addresses.
