Hardly a request thats likely to endanger any national security issues, considering that to download the software off gardtec requires contacting them for a different password than the one to view manuals, AND when installing you have to ring gardtec & get 2, count them, TWO registration numbers.

no but it endangers my customers security interests and my comercial interests if any tom dick or harry can just plug on to my systems.

Exactly, thats why I explained the long winded procedure for just getting the software onto the lappy in the first place.

Plus I don`t think any Tom,Dick or Harry is going to know how to set up the comms & links to remove to use it. It`s hardly plug and play as you may well know.
