I'd be grateful for some guidance.

Bought a house with a Nexus 8 alrm system installed (I gather from this site that its not the best!). Want to add an additional keypad. Have very very little technical knowledge, but can follow instructions well. Have the Engineers manual which clearly shows wiring instructions, but would welcome a step by step guide.

I assume I need to disconnect alarm panel from power before doing anything in it.

Any help would be gratefully received.

To be honest, what's in the book is pretty much it. If that seems daunting, (which it obviously does as you're here), then you really want to think about calling an engineer.
