Hi,

I've been looking around to understand the difference between DSCs downloading software DSC2002 and DSC2002 SA. In vain. Anyone here with a good description and each versions field of application?

you mean DLS2002?

do you have access to DSC extranet?

SA - files seem to relate to drivers, not the software itself..

I am not sure what panel versions you have in Sweden, but I guess they are pretty much same than here (in coldshire).

You should have :

DLS2002 Engine only

DLS2002 Intl drivers pack

DLS2002_SP2

*** SA - files seem to be some additional drivers.

I have both versions but don't want to make a test installation to see what comes out of it. Still have a pretty clean system installation on my laptop and don't want to risk ruin it.

I thought it could stand for System Administrator, but on the other hand; I thought that applied to the DLS2002 software as a whole (yes, DLS, not DSC).

A partner downloaded it from the DSC-site but couldn't find any info there either. Problem two is that you can only find the US driver pack there.

Hyvää iltaa Ruotsista

And these are the files (related to DLS2002) i am able to locate there:

DLS-2002_Engine_Only_Setup - 18.1MB (single .EXE file)

DLS2002_International Drivers Pack - 61.9MB (single .EXE file)

DLS2002 SP2 Release Notes.txt

DLS2002_SP2 (Service Pack) - 18.4MB (single .EXE file)

DLS 2002 RF5501 v5.0EU Driver.exe - 1.22MB (single .EXE file)

DLS2002 PC4020 v3.5 Driver.exe - 2.47MB (single .EXE file)

DLS2002 PC4020 v3.5SA Driver.exe - 2.31MB (single .EXE file)

DLS2002 PC5020 v3.2SA Driver.exe - 1.66MB (single .EXE file)

Ahh, obviously he went to the US/Can-site and instead for the international one ... Dang, new application equals fiddling around and having "fun" with new software needs to be postponed :(

Another stupid :P question from me would of course be "what could the difference be in a North American version vs an International"

Different country's have different stardards eg in the USA they are using Power 832 v2.4

in the UK this is now v2.82 ;)

There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
