Hi guys,

I have a Scantronic 9851 which has two hard wired expanders on it. The alarm has gone off twice now over period of several months claiming a lid tamper on one of the expanders. The expander checks out fine and the wiring looks ok. The cable runs is approx 50m (outbuilding) though. I seem to remember a (firmware) problem causing the radio expanders to "disappear" but not the hard wired ones. Any ideas anyone?

Is it remote from the panel in a box? if so the box lid tamper may be causing the problem.
