February 25, 200521 yr comment_41749 Hi Guys, Moved house and the alarm system is an accenta 8... no keypad on front just remote pads. Its all gone a bit pear shaped and I need to reset to factory defaults. I downloaded an engineering manual but what it says does not work I suspect its talking about a diff system. It says to hit reset twice at power up but no luck. any help on how to reset would be great... do I have to disconnect everything or can it be done in situe and what is the reset procedure? February 25, 200521 yr comment_41762 If it was that easy every burglar would know how to do it. :!: You really do need a professional engineer, unless you installed the system yourself and have the installation instructions. You can't get those for ADE systems any more by download. That part of their web site is now restricted. February 26, 200521 yr comment_41824 I appreciate that fact.. and have to admit I posted the request before I knew that I would not get an answer... I have since worked out what to do from this site though and have to say that the Burglar would have to be very impresive to be able to do it without setting off the alarm. I think the Manufactures thought that process through well, otherwise yes every B' would be able to disarm the system too easily.
