Yes we use SDSL as well, but 1Mbps/1Mbps ADSL is quite common here.

We have another installations (small business, not day nurseries), and the customer is looking for 4 channel DVR and 8 channel DVR with audio input on all channels.

There are not many DVR out there, but not all have audio input on all channels. No other specific requirement for the DVR.

My budget is £1200 for 4 channel DVR and £1500 for 8 channels DVR. Do you guys have any good recommendations?

The animal you want may exist. I can direct you to a 16 channel machine which will do 25 images per second on all channels at the same time and with lip-sync audio on all channels at the same time but your £1,500 is too low. If you want to follow up then contact me at dvr@dsl.pipex.com
