Hi

I have recently installed a Scantronic 500r+. The system works fine upto a point, it can programme the detectors, set off the bell, strobe, operates fine on walk through test, but it would not set the alarm.

In trying to investigate the problem the tamper alarm has gone off and the control panel will not now reset.

How can I reset the panel? Do I have to power down and then back up?

The user guide refers to calling the service installer if this happens and I can't locate the correct piece of information in the installation guide.

I am using the factory resets.
