wonder if anyone can help me out with a manual for an optima XM6. I have just purchased a new house and did not get the manual.

everything works OK except i need to reset the timers as the thing keeps going off before i can unset it when i come home.

Anyone can give instructions on this and i will be very happy.

I am a computer network engineer and will help any members with IT related issues as a means of saying thanks.

somewhere on this website you will find a way of downloading the info you want, otherwise if it is just the set/unset programming codes you want they are as follows:

to change exit time- press the prog button all lights will show then enter your alarm code, day and tamper lights will show then press prog button then enter 9999 (this is the engineer code hopefully it has'nt been changed if it has i will have to tell you how to put your alarm panel back to factory set conditions),day and attack lights show then press 1 two zone indicators now show enter the time in 10 second increments that you want e.g 01=10 seconds,02=20 seconds,03=30 seconds and so on, after keying in your 2 digit number you have now programmed exit timer then press reset twice.

follow the same procedure again as of above to change your entry timer but instead of pressing number 1 immediately after engineer code 9999 press number 2 instead and that is it, hope you can follow the above if not somewhere on this website you can download the pdf file for the xm6.
