i have just installeda sterling 10 lcd panel everything seems ok exept that when

i try tochange text user names and zone descriptions it will only accept 7 characters although in the manual saysit will display up to sixteen has anyone had

this problem or know what may be the problem

Jef,

The only part that will accept 16 characters is on the LCD screen in normal day mode, for example this is the bit that shows on the LCD screen when not set.

I'm pretty sure from memory users and zones will only go up to 7 or 9 characters.

Easy to get round by setting the text up as F_DOOR or LGE_PIR or similar.
