Guest sens7 Posted January 19, 2005 Share Posted January 19, 2005 I am a newly established sole trader in the industry, I'm moving into installing monitored systems as well as "bells only" and dialler systems. Do I need inspectorate approval before I can get Police response to my monitored systems? Any help and advice would be appreciated? ian.cant Posted January 19, 2005 Share Posted January 19, 2005 Yes! And unless your conversant with the relevant standards and regulations your in for a rather steep learning curve. Try the SSAIB for advice on your next moves, or NSI. you will need to be a member of one of these inspectorates before your installations will be issued URN's by the police.
