sparky83
Off the top of my head you just plug the lead into the serial port at your laptop, and the other end into com1 on the panel - make sure it is that one and not the connection that says engineer keypad because it is the same connection. On the keypad go to UDL options - change the UDL password to something unique. Create an account on wintex, make great care that you select premier 24 on the list of panels and type in the UDL password you typed into the keypad. Then click connect on wintex and it should say at the bottom connected. You can then send and recieve the data as required. Any problems phone technical, number is on the back of the manual. breff
Other things to take care of... Make sure yoy have the right com port selected for the pccom on ur laptop. If its got a com2400, make sure you temporarily change com1 to not used in com port setup on the keypad. If its got a com2400, make sure you connect to com1 on the panel pcb and not the com1 on the com2400 The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/4463-texecom-24-panel-pc-programming/#findComment-33673 Share on other sites
