Guest sts
No matter if i wire and programme zones as CC or EOL and set the panel for the correct setup all zones still have faults when i exit engineer mode. Any help would be appreciated. Dave Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/4260-scantronic-9851/ Share on other sites

Guest sts
housty, Sorted the zones now but OP 1 connected to ext. sounder and OP 2 connected to strobe but they dont seem to work in alarm condition or by test. Am i missing something in programming or just being a dummy? Guest IM_Alarms
why are you using the outputs to trigger the external sounder and strobe, when you have a proper sounder section to connect to that doesn't require programming Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/4260-scantronic-9851/#findComment-31384 Share on other sites

Guest sts
Hi Paul, Yep the Ov common link was fitted. Found fault which was a dry joint on the rear of the pcb for the NO connection. Changed this to NO2 and all fine. Now exchanged pcb and all is fine.
