Our control panel has recently started bleeping when someone walks in front of one of the sensors, eventhough the alarm is 'off'. When looking at the control panel it shows that the zone 2 light has been activated, but the actual house alarm has not gone off...becuase the alarm isn't on!!

How do I reset the alarm so that the 'bleeping' stops?

It sounds like you have 'chime' enabled on zone 2.

Here is the User Guide, it will tell you how to disable it
