RISCO LIGHTSYS2 & Final Exit Set

Featured Replies

Exit Terminate would set the the system if the door is already closed, that's fine! It's one of the 5? compliant methods unless I'm talking bullocks.

As long as the ET button is outside the protected area you'd comply, right other registered alarm monkeys?

So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands

It would appear that when we set up the LightSYS Config using the software we get the option to tell the panel what standard to default to - we were advised a few years ago to set the panel to OEN for general set up of alarms, but for this option that we require, the panel must be defaulted at set up to OUK. Even then we are being told the panel doesn't have an option to tick etc but it just knows to follow the standard we require.

We need to save the config, reset and reboot the panel for this option we require to take affect, we haven't tried this yet but will do so soon, will keep you posted.

If this works, yes its a pain this time around but if all we need to do in future to make this option we require available is to set the panel to OUK then it's probably not too bad.
