I recently found that the keypad on my XM alarm was not working.

I have changed the battery and managed to get it working.

 

After doing this I decided to do a walk test to confirm that everything was working.

Everything is working except zone 4 which has a PIR on the landing and a PIR in the kitchen.

The PIR's both flash when I walk past but do not trigger the alarm.

 

Is it likely to be a faulty PIR?

How do I find out which one?

there shouldn't be 2 pirs on the same zone so id guess the person that did it didn't know much and then wired them in parallel?

The system was installed by builder 20 year ago and has worked well.

Any idea how I resolve?
