Hello Friends

             I am vignesh and am working in fire alarm Maintenance dept. I have some doubts to clarify with you guys. I am working in a facility there they using honeywell Addressable control panel, smoke detector and heat detectors. there are some detectors not working, the same model detectors not available in the market. please give me a solution regarding this issue other than complete change the system.   If we use  Gent brand same capacity detector means the system accept the detector and working?

Surely if your working in a fire alarm maint dept you should have the knowledge and experience to not be asking this question.

 

which Honeywell panel is it? 

Honeywell has a unique protocol and as far as i,m aware only available from honeywell. Notifier detectors will not work on this system 

Honeywell is an odd one.. Some use system sensor protocol but it's impossible to say as your post lacks the basic information needed to give a proper answer
