Hi - first timer with a small problem.

I have the Accenta 6 system in my home. Whilst decorating I removed one the PIR detectors from the wall. This activated the alarm's tamper system so I entered my 4 digit code to silence the system.

Now the keypad had gone dead and is not responding. The POWER and TAMPER lights are still illuminated.

The mains supply is ok and I have just removed the Mains fuse - when I re-inserted it the siren activated. I was able to cancel it using the keypad but now I'm back in the same position with the keypad not responding.

Any ideas please?

:D did you put pir back !!!.

you have triggered a tamper fault this is what happens to accentas when you have a tamper fault, at least you have a good starting point.
