Equally on the firmware releases issues with flex seemed to have calmed down but I don't see that flex really has much benefit for what you want. GalaxyGuy Posted July 15, 2014 Share Posted July 15, 2014 Pretty much the same as Matt, I'd stick with the G2 or Dimension over the Flex. I've had several customers who have experienced issues when trying to mix portals and RIO's on the Flex series - all sorts of strange behaviour from the firmware. Programming is a little different with the Flex V3 in the comm's area, but generally the same feel as the Galaxy series. The Flex V3 also has a second bus introduced - Honeywell Intellibus - Another protocol sitting on RS485 at higher speed. Oh, and the devices for that bus aren't compatible with the old modules.
