Guest IM_Alarms Posted September 10, 2004 Share Posted September 10, 2004 I have an ipaq which,although a couple of years old, is a good workhorse and I have come to rely on. It has stopped backlighting itself and won't even backlight when put on permanent backlight. Any ideas how to fix it or get it fixed. Smart Electrics Posted September 10, 2004 Share Posted September 10, 2004 That depends on how confident you are with opening the back up and having a look to see if the Back light connections have come away from the PCB. But alas, it wasn't as obvious where the lights or connection were...... You know what it's like when you tell the wife that you are going to service the car, trundle out with a kit of tools, lift the bonnet .................. ................. scream internally at the lack of space............... put the bonnet down!........... go look in the boot, just in case you have the wrong end......... then go and find a mechanic.
