scantronic 9600 install manual

i would like to give thanks for any help in advance

i am working in a shop with a 9600 panel i have the user guide

and i find i need the installer manual as i am going to need to reset the

board to factory defaults as the code for the board has been lost and forgoten

i know how to do the reset but i have been told i realy could do with the

install manual as i will need to setup all of the entry exit and all zones

if i do a reset is the defaults of the system able run normaly or will i have to set other things up

ok sorry did not know on this do you know if i reset the system is it will

work with out any other setings i am a sparky and have had this problem be for

and reset the item and had no problems but better ask now than try to !!!!

Unfortunately it is unlikely that the panel will behave as you want it to - for example, if you have less than 8 zones, the panel will see any unused zones as violated and will not let you set the system.

Also, your entry/exit and walk-through zones will need to be programmed or you will generate an alarm condition every time you open up!
