Herbert P
I've some headache with my homelink 75 securty System. I am getting the message that the battery for BTD is low. So I assume that the batteries of the control panel have to be changed. My concern is to open the panel to remove the batteries could cause a false alarm and some other inconveniences. Would be pleased if anybody can help to procedure properly. Thx in advance Herbert Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/35049-homelink-75-battery-funk-btd-low/ Share on other sites
datadiffusion
The panel contains direct mains voltages (its not powered by a PSU brick like some wireless alarms) so caution would be the first thing to mention! You will also need the engineering code to reset afterwards. Unlike most Scantronic products, this one uses a special NIMH battery pack for the rechargeables, which is probably a fairly standard part with lots of other uses but not so common as normal alarm system batteries. I have no idea what the Scantronic part no. is for it! Sorry there's not a lot that can be done to help on a forum - the best bet is to find a local professional especially one that does a lot of Scantronic wireless stuff - good luck! So, I've decided to take my work back underground.... to stop it falling into the wrong hands Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/35049-homelink-75-battery-funk-btd-low/#findComment-335821 Share on other sites
