Agility 3 Gsm Module Capabilities

Featured Replies

just to again say not worked on this version yet.

so based on the earlier unit, personally i would tackle the 'follow me' first, this has to be enabling first it in engineer mode.

Oddly, when you get to set up uswers, the option is defaulted to GPRS/PSTN, even though the GPRS board is (was) an optional extra.

as Master User you then go into follow me from User Menu's and enter phone numbers.

i'm guessing your SIM has data/email enabled?

@arfur mo:

The Agility 3 has no PSTN built in - all comms are optional extras. I think it did default to PSTN/GSM, but as I only have GSM, I have set it to that.

The SIM hasdata enabled, and that is confirmed bythe fact that it is talking to the cloud.

I have SMS follow-me that works, just not voice/email.

i don't have the latest engineer manual to look at, as yet it is not available off the Risco site

assuming you have good signal mobile strength fr that provider, tbh either ring Risco tech direct - might be a wait but very helpful, or better to speak to your installer.as he may not have set it up correctly.

being blunt, you have paid for this type of connection indicated by having bought the gprs board, i'd have expected for it t have worked in the prescribed way before the engineer left, or had made an arranged return visit.

i expected to find the problem was in setting up preferred order of contacting key-holders. but having now looked through both user and engineer manuals, i found no reference's to actually setting up for voice FM via gprs.

it seems FM voce messaging is only available via the pstn module (which used to come included in earlier model).
