hi all

im looking for a wireless sensor that gose on the end of a sliding gate so if the gate hits anythings it stops.

the gate is already automated and has photo sensors but customer is wanting this added safty.

I have seen them before but cant remember the name, you had the sensor and a reciver that you wired back to the control unit.

 

any help?

sorted! just found them.

Safety edges, make sure the gate is not dependent on anything wireless for safety. Consider the motor end aswell, there are often trap points that require safety edges at each side of the gate.
