I have a Securit 700l which seems to have thrown a wobbler.

Had a good storm yesterday and after it passed was unable to enter any numbers into the two keypads I have. I thought by removing the mains and the battery it might reset the system.

This has only done two things.

1. Pointed out that the battery had failed

and

2. No mains light or Day light has appeared on the C&K keypads

I have replaced the battery but the mains or day light still does not appear on the keypads.

Any advice would be grateful

When you power-up , is there any sound from the speaker or rkp? are any of the leds in the detectors on , are the keypads illuminated , do the buttons make a noise when pressed?.

Both remote keypads appear to have the 12v as when pressed they beep and the back light is illuminated

Unable to get keypads to acknowledge codes

Only get beeps from keypad and backlight is illuminated indicating 12v to the keypad

Detectors all working

Bell box is working especially now have new battery

Keypads mains led not lit

Have you tried the default code 1,2,3,4 .

yeah but nothing is recognised. When the panel is reset there is no ack from the keypads either now

You may not have mains.Either the main supply fuse has gone or the transformer has no output.If you are not confident around 240v , get a pro in to check it out.

If you have a multimeter , check for around 14vAC coming from the transformer.
