Guest MikeH Posted August 24, 2004 Share Posted August 24, 2004 Hi I have a Securit 700l which seems to have thrown a wobbler. Had a good storm yesterday and after it passed was unable to enter any numbers into the two keypads I have. I thought by removing the mains and the battery it might reset the system. This has only done two things. 1. Pointed out that the battery had failed and 2. No mains light or Day light has appeared on the C&K keypads I have replaced the battery but the mains or day light still does not appear on the keypads. FASTCAR Posted August 24, 2004 Share Posted August 24, 2004 When you power-up , is there any sound from the speaker or rkp? are any of the leds in the detectors on , are the keypads illuminated , do the buttons make a noise when pressed?. FASTCAR Posted August 24, 2004 Share Posted August 24, 2004 You may not have mains.Either the main supply fuse has gone or the transformer has no output.If you are not confident around 240v , get a pro in to check it out. If you have a multimeter , check for around 14vAC coming from the transformer.
