Faulty Sensor For Optima Compact Alarm

I moved house in June, and the new house is fitted with an Optima Compact alarm with an LED keypad. The system has been working fine up until about a week ago. Then about a week ago, every time the sensor in the kitchen sensed movement, it caused the alarm to beep (not alarm), and the red light on the control panel to light up. I have read through the user guide, and I cannot see how to solve the problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I really can't afford to call out an engineer (possibly not until the new year).

Zone on chime I reckon.

Must be a customer configureable option too. check your manual for it

Lol. could be worse though, imagine how offputting chime might be on a bedroom detector....
