Hi, new to this forum but been having a look around and its very good.

I went to see a customer over the weekend to quote for a cctv system, the trouble im having is they have a set of electric gates i fitted a while ago for them, and they want to be able to remotley view the gate camera from there iphone and then latch an output on the dvr to open and close the gates when visitors/trades come via the iphone app.

I've been looking at the Alien DVR's which will do this but only via android software atm as the iphone version of the app to do it is still in progress.

is there any other dvr's out there that will do this or is there any other way round it?

Have you thought about a PC based system?

iCatcher Console supports a huge range of cameras, along with a lot of I/O hardware such as X10, Velleman and ADAM Controllers.
