Guest James
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me? I have a Guardtec 500 Control Panel and am struggling slightly with wiring in the external bell. The control panel has the following terminals: 12v + 12v - Strobe + Strobe - Bell + Bell - Bell Hold - SAB Tamp I currently have it wired in as follows: Panel Bell 12v + 12v + 12v - 12v - Strobe + Strobe + Strobe - Strobe - Bell + Trig + Bell - Trig - When an alarm occures, the strobe flashes but theres no siren. Have I got the wiring wrong? Please help? Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/31663-gardtec-500-bell-wiring/ Share on other sites

Guest James
Thanks for this advice. I started by trying the first option of disconnecting Bell + which worked perfectly. I'll keep the third response in mind should I ever remove the bell in the future.
