Scantronic9751
Hello, Got a problem with a Scantronic 9751 single zone fsl which is as follows ; When an intrusion is detected the alarm and strobe do not trigger. I can walk test the system and all the detectors are working (used chime attribute) I can self test the siren and strobe ports manually, no problems. Would very much appreciate if someone could help Many thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/30455-scantronic-9751/ Share on other sites
Guest Oxo
I assume you mean bell and strobe test via test menu, and or applying hard negs, First thing i`d look at is bell delay. Has it been enabled? Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/30455-scantronic-9751/#findComment-262462 Share on other sites

Many thanksfor the reply Strobe and bell tests via the test menu and by asserting o/p1 and o/p 2 (command 91) Bell delay = no delay(default) o/p 1 and o/p/2 Hard negatives hope that this helps Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/30455-scantronic-9751/#findComment-262478 Share on other sites

Scantronic9751
What is the zone programmed as? The zone is not partitioned, all detectors are on one zone on different inputs. hope that this helps Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/30455-scantronic-9751/#findComment-262480 Share on other sites
Scantronic9751
Hello, I have just solved the problem. Reading the notes and setting accordingly as shown at the end of OPTION 41 BELL Delay which were as follows : commands:161,162,47,63,73 and 77. It appears that by having the incorrect settings on the abovementioned commands will inhibit the bell and strobe. Have just reconfigured the system and set it. When triggered, the external bell(siren), strobe and internal speaker produce the desired effects. Many thanks in advance and hope that this info was useful.
