Galaxy Entry Problem

Featured Replies

the numbers etched on the tags are for the black max readers and not the rkp as someone has said already a and 1

That reads the tag but the number is not as etched on. Now it does a short and long blip when tag is presented but nothing else and I don't seem able to get into the log to see what it says. I think I will have to come back tomorrow and try again - I have a little better idea of what should be going on. Thanks

no should'nt be Telecom mod is off I am assuming that it has stopped gsm one

Learn the tag on in 42 users then option 7 max/card number with the A & 1 pressed at the same time and make sure you then go into option 8=Max function and give it 12 = timed set.

You'll need to hold the tag for 4-5 seconds before it'll start setting.....sequence it double beep...pause...beep followed by another double beep quickly and the system will start setting or bring up the group choice.

I did actually resolve it in the end and this was what the problem was but I had wasted a lot of time reading and checking and re-doing all the settings before the client told me that you had to keep the tag on for that amount of time after it had been read!!!!! A newer manual would probably have solved both the problems I had - but I have learned quite a lot about the panel.

Thanks for your interest
