May 8, 200917 yr comment_236664 Good Morning all Members. I have the standard Optima Compact ADE intruder alarm fitted and I think the battery needs replacing. A Friend has told me that if I remove the front cover to do this the alarm will be activated. Can someone please tell me how to fit the battery without the alarm sounding? Probably a simple job and I cannot find the manual that was supplied by the engineer who fitted the system originally, a self employed person who has moved house and I can't fid him now. Any help would be more than appreciated, so thanks in anticipation of reply's. greg2230 Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/28570-battery-replacement/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 May 8, 200917 yr comment_236679 As long as the alarm is unset , then only the internal alarm will sound, this is then cancelled with your user code.Be careful the battery doesn't fall out and take care around hazardous voltages.
