Hi ,we have somehow lost the password to a Vista VC16DLe version 3.24 ,we spoke to norbain and they said it should be able to defaulted by holding down camera 1 button and pause buttton at same time while powering it up,unfortunatly we had no luck ,i'm wondering if anyone on here might the know the trick of defaulting it?

A usual way to reset machines (not familiar with the Vista) is to remove the back-up battery along with the mains power for a few seconds, if this does not work look for reset switches on the motherboard.

Sometimes it works to set the machine to NTSC rather than PAL, this can also reset the unit, if it auto detects then powering up without any cameras attached may do it.
