Well I would be tempted to bin the panel but if you have the motivation/ energy/inclination it might be worth disconnecting the keypad then wire it directly to the panel using a short length of cable, also disconnect all other devices. Put links in the tamper circuits including the bell tamper then try again. If this fails you can be pretty sure you have a duff panel. y-i-out-of-bed Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 hum in that case i would take keypad to the panle as sergested also link out all zones and tampers and try old code & default code if you have installer manual dono if i can give you code or how to get to eng but sure that some thing that old sould be out there someware also if you have data and sound cores the wrong way round it will stop working so cheak these are ok also day and power wont show as it is in alarm these will come back when code is entererd cheack amps going to keypad and bellbox and all detectors. is there any burns on mainboard as some times a short on sounder can damage board.
