Hey

Im trying to set zone 2 PIR in dining room as an entry route, so its times on entry.

I have a door contact on front door Zone 1.

Then the next room you enter is Zone 2. Dining room.

What i want is the Zone 2 to be timed to say 10-15 seconds as this is the first room you will enter if the alarm is set through the night and you come downstairs in the morning. Obviously without opening Zone 1 (front door)

But am i right in saying this will only become timed also once Zone 1 has been opened? This is not what i want

you would have to set up a 'part set' for night time use and program zone 2 as entry/exit zone in that part set.

All you have done at the moment is program zone 2 as entry route in 'full set' if it aint required to be entry route in full ie it's not access to the keypad-set it as alarm-else your compromising the integrity of the system!.
