I have a system powered by a securit 800 L panel (the CEF AP28 version) - I can't silence the key pad, it wont take the user code or the engineer code. I have mains power OK but neither the day or 24hour lamps on the key pad are alight.

I have checked the fuses and all including the 1amp in the panel are ok.

I have tried disconnecting the battery but that makes no difference at all.

I can get my electrician here in the morning but in the meantime I have two childern who will not be able to sleep tonight if I cannot silence this kepad !!!

Does any body have any suggestions that might help me silence this keypad - suggestions such as put a hammer through it are good but not very helpful.

HELP!!!! - PLEASE!?!?!?
