November 17, 200817 yr comment_216704 Hi I've had my entire alarm system disconnected from the mains for two days following a relocation of the external alarm, and now with everything back as it was originally, the control panel constantly says 'Can't set Low Batt.'. Is this referring to the battery in the external alarm box or the backup battery in the actual control unit? I've checked the voltage on the control unit battery and it is reading at a steady 12v. I have the engineer code set to default at the moment, but every time I try to access the engineer setup menu by pressing no when I have input the engineer code there is no response from the system, the dialogue "Do you want to set Engineer?" is just displayed with no change, so I can't set minimum and maximum voltages from the Engineer menu. The regular user setup menu is fine and will allow zone setups and user codes to be changed, so I don't know if there is something wrong with that? Thanks in advance! Start setting using user code, unset using engineer code, then enter engineer code again, you'll find you can then enter all engineer menus.
